The start of a new school year is bittersweet each year.
I love the routine and structure that comes with school,
but hate the fact that it means my kids are another year older!
Lexi and Ashlee are both in Middle School- MIDDLE SCHOOL!!
Lexi starts 6th grade and will be starting preAP classes and Band this year.
Ashlee starts 5th grade this year and is excited to finally be in middle school.
Carly starts 1st grade and informed me she is not really very nervous. She has a very sweet teacher and quite a few friends in her class.
Baylee just wanted to have her picture taken and has carried her lunch box with her for the last 24 hours. She tried to sleep with it, but I snuck it out of her bed.

very cute! Your girls are getting so big! We will be starting school next week...I am sad to be seeing 2 go off to school all day but I am excited for the kids and their new routine...Dustin is going to be one sad little guy though...He has never been without his big brother around...
Super cute girls! I like that school has started, but I'm starting to freak out that Eric will be 5 this year...I want my baby boy back!
First day of school is always fun. It's the rest of the year I dread. I have to get back into homework routine. :( I think I hate it just as much as my kids.

That's crazy that your kids start middle school in 5th grade! Does your middle school have 3 grades or 4?
