Or aka Softball With Attitude! Lexi had a new team this year for Fall softball. She is now in the 12U division, and some of these girls are GIANTS! It took Lexi a little while to get comfortable playing, but by her 3rd game she was hitting and catching. Learning to play with a bigger ball, and the pitches are a lot faster were really intimidating. Her coach stopped us when leaving her 3rd game and told her she could choose what ever position she wanted to play in for the next game because he was watching her not miss a single throw and she was getting good hits. It made Lexi feel part of the team finally.
Lexi has LOVED softball and constantly wants to practice with Darrell. But, I know having to play on a new team was hard. Lexi is not the tallest girl, and some of the girls on her team were extremely tall and uh... fully developed- they looked 14 not 12!! She will be in the draft for Spring, and will hopefully get a team with a few girls she knows.
Slacker Mom only took ONE picture of her this season- and it's not even a good one!! She had just run home and was on her way to the dug out. Because of the chain link fence this is what I got..:)
