Halloween 2009

Carly thought it would be funny not to smile- the smile came very fast when I told her she wouldn't get her candy. I know I'm mean!

We kind of slacked this year, sadly we didn't even carve pumpkins! Carly was the only one who was bothered by it and decided to take matters into her own hands. She GLUED her cut outs of shapes on the wall to be her Halloween decorations! I took most of them down, but got a quick picture. (I did go buy a wreath and light up pumpkin to avoid any other creative juices.)

The kids had fun at their Halloween parties, I didn't get one of Carly at her pre school party- but she had so much fun! Lexi and Ashlee loved their parties too!


We left school a little early to go over to the Home Office for trick or treating. Darrell's area had some nasty stuff! Roaches everywhere, candy poop, candy earthworms. They had a little station to put a glove on and touch inside boxes to feel bones, brains, and I honestly don't remember what the other one was. We left Baylee with one of Darrell's co- workers and took the girls around. WAY TOO MUCH CANDY! Each of them have a Wal-Mart bag FULL of candy!

After loading up on all kinds of cavity causers we ran home and fed the kids. Darrell and I went to a Halloween Party with friends. Again I slacked- I got the costumes, but forgot to get the make- up. We had so much fun- it's always fun to have get togethers without kids!

Saturday we had the Trunk or Treat. I have a video of probably HALF the kids in our ward doing the costume parade. I missed the first little bit. Can you believe how many kids we have?! This Sunday we had families sitting in the Relief Society room since there were no more chairs in sacrament meeting- that is just how big our ward is!
