Carly turned off her alarm clock this morning and said, "Happy Valentine's Day Mommy!" I quickly explained it wasn't really Valentine's Day, just the party day, she then told everyone, "Happy Valentine's Party Day."
Carly is learning about the letter P in school so she had a Pirate/ Princess Valentine party. They only let one parent volunteer, and it wasn't me. Carly couldn't wait to wear her Cinderella dress and crown. They had a treasure hunt and each decorated their own pirate chest. They found the treasure- lot's of candy and valentine's. She was also so excited to have her "Heart Hair Do."
Lexi's class had a fun relay race where they had to wear a fancy boa and sunglasses, then dance up to the teacher to get some wax lips. With all their yummy treats they also had punch with magic potions they could add.
Ashlee's class made scrapbooks with all their valentine's. They glued their cards on a page and wrote something that they would remember about that person. I swear dentists must love holidays- the amount of sugar intake.....
Baylee liked all the valentine's, especially the ones in crinkly plastic bags. She enjoyed going to the school and seeing her big sisters. She was passed around from mom to mom to mom. She is such a tease, she pretends to be shy and hides her head when someone smiles at her. She is very attached to me, so if anyone took her from me she cried for a minute, but then realized they had fun necklaces and earrings to grab.
Baylee always has her bottom lip sucked in- little old man look!
Tonight Darrell took Lexi and Ashlee to the Daddy Daughter Sweetheart Dance at school. It's a cute fundraiser for the 4th grade, and usually 3rd grade girls get invited as well. They were excited to wear their new dresses.
Hope you had a " Happy Valentine's Party Day" too!

I love the heart hair do....you're so creative! My little girl already fights me on doing her hair and she's not even two. Hope she grows into liking it done!
Cute Heart Hairdo! Looks like they all had a good Party day. Bekkah was excited to celebrate her first at school...I have been finding Valentines Wrappers all over the place...
I haven't been on my blog in a long time and just read your comment asking if you can add me to your blog list. Feel free to do so! Thanks for asking!
That heart hair do is so cute. It's always fun to see what you and your cute family are up to.
Looks like you've read a lot of good books lately. If I took more time to read, I'd read some that you just did, such as the Percy Jackson series. Derek LOVES those books! He wants to see the movie and keeps reminding me it opens tomorrow. I'd also read a few classics, such as Les Miserables.
Love the hair, on both Carly and Baylee! I agree that dentists LOVE Valentine's Day! My kids have been eating candy for three days now! We were sick today, so I'm not sure if teeth got brushed! Yuck!!! Cute idea for a fundraiser too!
youre so sweet! thank you
