League Champions!

Lexi's team has really had a great year with all their tournaments! They have had a really fun season together, we'll have to wait and see what happens for next season. Some are moving up to a new age, and some are staying with this age- or the coach may decide to do something completely different... who knows?!?
Rockstars played the Hot Shot's for the championship game. The girls on both teams are great friends- well most of them... With it being double elimination the Hot Shot's would have had to beat Rockstars twice. Hot Shot's won the first game 7-6. That really fired up our girls, so the next game in the first inning our girls scored 4 runs. In the third inning we had a few struggles, so Hot Shot's tied the game. We scored two more runs the next inning, and Hot Shot's had last bat. They had a girl ready to score but we got the three outs first.

Baylee was definitely the most popular little girl at each game! She loved to go to the dugout and talk to each of the girls- she knew names and numbers of each girl!

Whew! What a fun but exhausting season! I don't think anyone except Lexi will miss the fields this summer.

When the girls all got their trophies it was great to see our girls line up and make a tunnel for Hot Shot's to run through- then Hot Shot's did the same for our girls. At the end of the day they are all 10 and 11 year olds having a lot of fun. I'm glad they can come out of this still being friends- because that's what is most important!
