Ashlee had her review for Karate and tested for her Yellow Belt. Her Sensei has been telling her for a while he would just mover her up, but I really wanted her to go through the normal steps everyone else does.
Ashlee is not an aggressive child- never has been. She has done so well in karate- she is learning to be a little more aggressive, but in a good way.
Her friend Renae started karate recently, and Ashlee has loved having someone she knows in class, that's a girl.
They did a lot of their Review with their eyes closed so those who didn't know what to do couldn't look at the others to figure it out.
After the Review the kids (and parents) get a little nervous, but Ashlee and Renae passed. Renae didn't want to do the Review, but after a little (or a lot:)) of coaxing we got Renae and her sister Avery to test. Avery just had to work on a few techniques and will find out in the next week if she passed. They all did really well!
