Lexi and Baylee really enjoyed dance this year.
Lexi took Hip Hop- the photographer had a family emergency and couldn't get Lexi's pictures taken until we were out of town- so no pics. Aaaand the place they ordered their costumes from lost the order, so the costumes didn't come in until we were gone. We showed up to the rehearsal hoping her new costume was there. Turns out her teacher went to Justice and found stuff for them there. It was frustrating for us to not have anything, but I know they were frustrated too.
The actual recital is on Sunday, and because we choose to keep Sunday a family day the rehearsal was my girls "recital."
Lexi's class didn't perform until after 8:00 so Darrell left with Baylee and I couldn't get pictures of her and record her dance. Here is the only pic I have of her in her costume. Her class had 7 kids and kids kept dropping out which made the dance have to be changed quite often. But with all the changes and mix ups the girls did great. Lexi puts so much into softball it was fun to watch her do something a little different- and I know she really enjoyed her class.
Baylee LOVED her tap/ballet/tumble class! Her costume came in and she had pictures taken- but I wasn't able to order them because I was suppose to pay for both at the same time... And since Lexi's pictures didn't happen, Baylee's never got ordered or paid for. Huge bummer!
Baylee has only been in the class since April, her teacher was so sweet with her- Bays attentions span is all of 2 seconds. But, she did learn her dance- just always a few beats behind. :) The other girls in her class were all almost 4 and 5. Baylee was as tall as most of them and taller- but almost 2 years younger then all of them. She did a great job and really liked being out on the big stage. I don't think this girl will ever have a shy bone in her body!
Great job Lexi and Baylee!
