Baylee's First Day Of Preschool

Baylee has been waiting and waiting and waiting for her school day- and it FINALLY came!

She laid out her clothes the night before just like her big sisters, and made sure her "pretty" was with her clothes too.

We learned about the letter A and the color red. I asked each of the girls to bring something red for show and tell. It was cute to sing the Days of the Week song, and read a couple books about A's and Red. They were SO excited to get in their bags and find their red show and tells- 3 year olds are pretty dang cute!

Baylee told her friends about her red phone

After some fun pictures we traced the letter A, colored some A pictures, and then I pulled out the finger paint. These girls are dainty little things- the finger paints kind of freaked them out, actually- not kind of freaked them, it really freaked them out!

I painted their hands and part of their arms to make a tree and tree trunk. Each of the girls squealed and were nervous to be so messy. But after their hands were clean and I let them use the red paint on their thumbs to put apples on their tree- they LOVED it.
Baylee had so much fun, and can't wait for Thursday to come again so she can "do some learning, and play with her friends."

Sounds like so much fun! I love how hesitant the girls were of the paint...at least at first. :)
