First Day Of School!!

Last night after blessings from their Dad and a little Benadryl, our girls were out in 15 minutes. This has never happened before- this is record time.
This morning everyone was up and going, and no one seemed overly nervous either.

Here are my 7th, 6th, and 2nd graders!
We were excited to walk to the new Elementary and Middle school. Lexi starts school almost an hour later- so she stayed with Darrell and Bays.
It took 15 minutes to walk- and we were so happy to run into our friends the Patterson's while walking.
Two big Middle schoolers- Abbott in 5th and Ash in 6th.
Everyone hurrying along to get to school on time. Abbott, Ashlee, Carly, Anna, and Adeline.
Do you see the HUGE line of cars in the bottom picture?! They built two new schools but did not put any crosswalks- that really bugs! There were Police there to direct traffic and they let us cross also. We are hoping in the next few weeks/ months they will have crossing guards and crosswalks.
Lexi didn't have her schedule until she got to school- I'm excited to hear about her day- about finding her way around JUNIOR HIGH! I was sad to not see her off- but I know she's got it all under control.:)
I love these three girls- they are usually great kids, and I'm so blessed to be their mom!

I saw you and the Pattersons walking after dropping off my kiddos. I'm jealous that you're close enough to walk, I always loved walking as a kid.

Out in 15 minutes? It was after 10 the night before school and my kids were still wide awake. Maybe I should try Benadryl....
