I think almost all families have some sort of To Do list for Summer break. This year ours was incredibly short because we have just been so busy! The past week and a half we have been busy crossing things off our Summer List.
Our friends/ neighbors the Patterson's have an annual Picture Scavenger Hunt. We divided the kids by ages and one mom per 4-5 kids. I was running a little low on gas so I needed the least competitive team in case we had to make an emergency stop at the gas station.
Here are our pictures and what we had to find or do.
Take a picture with a port a potty
Take a picture with a street sign and do what it says- ours said Children at play
Take a picture with a living breathing animal that is not a dog or a cat- our was a bearded dragon
Piggy back rides in front of a body of water
Doing peace signs while going down a slide
Squeeze into a small place
Re-enact a Disney movie in public- Ours was Rapunzel. We had two Flynn's and 3 Rapunzel's letting their hair down
Take a picture with someone in uniform-
Body pyramid by a for sale sign
Create a letter or word with your bodies- we made an L
Silly faces in a reflection
Shadow animals
Take a picture upside down
These next pictures crack me up. When you have two 7 year old girls, a 5 year old girl, a 3 year old girl, and a 2 year old girl- and you ask them to dance in front of a motorcycle oh boy do they dance!!
Baylee, Adeline, and Gisele were quite confused about this whole thing of driving all over and running to something, snapping a picture, then jumping back in the car to go take another picture somewhere else. But they were great- we had three girls who needed help buckling in car seats and boosters and with the help of my two 7 year olds, Carly and Anna- our team came in SECOND PLACE! We were so happy- they kids had great team work and had so much fun!
