Did you all know my husband is a Charger's fan? Each of our kids knows the Charger song- oh, you didn't know there was such thing as a Charger's song?! It's great- total 70's disco type- it's great!
This year Charger's were playing in their home stadium in San Diego, so Darrell and I decided to go. Along with the Charger's game, Darrell's nephew Chris was leaving to Brazil on his mission, so we were there for his Farewell.
We drove to Kansas City to take the girls to my brothers house, so he and his wife and daughters could spoil them. Our first flight was very scary! We had some storms and I've never bumped and tipped on a plane like that. The flight attendants were panic-y too- not a fun flight. Darrell's sister picked us up late that night. Jamie, her husband Stefan, and sweet 3 week old baby Nora were there. Brittney and her husband Clay were there. It was a party weekend! I couldn't wait to hold Nora, and when she woke up shortly after we got there I got some great cuddle time with her. In fact she fell back asleep and didn't wake up to eat until 3:30- that's 5:30 our time, I had been up almost a full 24 hours, but was having so much fun talking to Brittney Jamie and Chris! It's so crazy that they were so tiny when Darrell and I got married, now two are married too and Chris is leaving on his Mission.
It was fun to visit all the family that came- it's so hard to be so far from everyone!
Here are a few pic's I took.
