These past few weeks I've had those moments where I just am amazed how quick the kids are growing up and how no matter how faster or slow you want time to go- it is always consistent! I don't really have anything major to post about- a few silly things did happen though.
Wednesday night we surprised Ashlee and took her to Build A Bear to get another animal- she was WAY excited! As I was taking pictures of her and the other girls outside of BABW- a Security Officer stopped me and told me we can't take pictures. I have heard you can't take pictures in a store of product, but I've never heard that I couldn't take a picture of my kids outside a store! He was really nice and was just trying to do his job- but I thought it was a little funny. He even mentioned I can't take a picture of the ground because it is also has a copyright! Ashlee chose to go to Mimi's Cafe for dessert. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of how big the dessert was and how little it made the girls look sitting behind it. They loved it and can't wait to go back again!
Ashlee and Treat, right before we were told no more pictures!
The girls at Mimi's Cafe
Another strange, yet annoying thing that I did this week.... I found out it's really expensive to have your rear light cover fall off! In August we noticed our tail light cover had fallen off our van, and were kind of bugged because we knew they were somewhat expensive to replace. You all know us and know we are not quick fixers on things, so of course we are still driving with only one taillight. The other night I was driving home and a police officer turned behind me. I suddenly realized just how dark the streets were and how bright my taillight probably was to him. Next thing, his lights go on. I pulled over and got out all the papers I needed. He was nice and just gave me a warning, but told me I was blinding him and needed to get it fixed, either with another tail light or red tape. OK, there is no way I am putting red tape on my van- that would be just too white trashy for me! I called and found out the $50 I thought it was going to be to replace my tail light was not that expensive- I am going to have to pay at LEAST $100!! Can you believe that?! With our upcoming trip to Las Vegas I know we are going to have to get it done- but I HATE spending money on cars!!
Carly Anna and Bryn at Playgroup
I had to laugh at this picture- Anna looks like a cute little princess. Bryn looks like a cute little dancer. Carly looks like a cute little POLE DANCER!!!

A pole dancer Lissa? Hilarious!! Love it.
I love Mimi's cafe. James and I ate there the other night and can I just tell you how awesome the chicken cordon bleu was? I totally don't want to know how fattening it was because I'm going to go back and get it again. :-)
Don't you know it's not nice to call your daughter a pole dancer? She looks like a pretty ballarina! They wear their har like that.
I can't believe BABW! Who copyrights a floor?!
Cute pictures. I can't believe how big your girls are getting. zthey look so grown up!
That's funny about the pictures! You should have asked the nice police officer if Darell could take a picture of you and the cop in front of BABW--ha ha! And I hear you about spending hard earned money on dumb things like a tail light! We are spending money to buy our neighbors a new mailbox, after one of our kids ran into it with their bike and broke it! ARRGGHH!!
