We have noticed over the last few weeks that Baylee sleeps much better when she is wrapped up, but she is quite a squirmer and would get out of the blanket. When Darrell left town last week I decided to buy the snuggler I had seen in Wal Mart. I never would have believed any of you if you would have told me when I first started having kids that I would wrap one of my babies so tight as this thing does! I used to watch people swaddle their babies and think it was cruel to basically strap your baby so tight they can't even move. But now I have been enlightened on how some babies really do like it!
Baylee slept 5 and a half hours the first night I put her in this thing, the next night it was 6, we are now at 8 hours!! My chest hurts when she sleeps so long, but it's a small price to pay! She loves this thing! She wakes up so happy. When she gets tired she might doze a little but she won't go sound asleep, unless you strap her down. She will start closing her eyes and wait for her pacifier, and with in minutes will be sound asleep!!
As you can see on the video she is so happy, but she is almost bursting out of this one- I have to look online to get a bigger size.
Any of you who have little babies that don't sleep, I highly recommend this!!

We've been strapping Addison down that way too. She loves it even though she squirms her way out of it often. It definitely makes for a great night of sleep for everyone. Congrats on your find! :D
I am a firm believer in "swaddling" (much nicer that "straping her down" ;O) ) Glad that you have found it and are gettin some sleep. She is so cute!!
Toby LOVED to be swaddled, I think we kept him swaddled until he was at least 10 months. We had something called a Burrito Blanket, it was great because it worked when he was a newborn but it also grew with him. I think my grandma got it online somewhere.
I think the reason babies like to be swaddled so much is because it feels nice and secure like the womb.
She certainly is one happy baby! Glad you're getting some sleep.
