Carly Carly Carly!

Yesterday Carly turned 6- I can't believe it! She is growing up into such a sweet and sometimes still energetic little girl. She loves kindergarten, going to church, and anywhere else she can go to socialize. As soon as she walks in the door from school the first thing she asks is if she can play. Forget homework and eating- those are second to playing with friends!

Carly has really grown up the past couple years. She loves to read- and surprises me with the words she knows. She loves to imagine and pretend. She loves to dance and put on dance shows for us all. the. time! She loves to play Barbies. When I send her upstairs to clean her room, I have to specify to not touch the Barbie house. If I don't she has cleaned and organized her Barbie house, but has not touched her room an hour later.

Carly keeps us laughing with her silly personality or when she makes comments that are too big for her, and she doesn't exactly use them in the right context. She is a great big sister and little sister (most of the time). She also loves to have her picture taken and creates her own poses.

Her and her friend Anna were playing the other day and asked if they could take pictures. I snapped a few cute shots of them playing Mary and Baby Jesus. At first it was Mary, Mary and Jesus. I quickly changed it- then Anna became Baby Jesus, along with the baby doll. Then they became Mary and a Shepherd. Funny kids!
