I'm Trying It Out!

This is a new thing for me- I feel like I'm actually becoming a little more computer literate! I have been told I should do a blog page instead of emailing all my pictures- so here it is!

We just got home from a LONG trip out West. It sounds so funny to say that- but after driving for 18 hours- it feels so far away. It was great to see family and friends- I really miss everyone. But I realized as we were on I15 going to Las Vegas- I don't miss the traffic at all! I thought I was going to have a panic attack trying to merge and get off the freeway. Then I had to laugh because I drove the 15 and 95 to go anywhere while we lived there. How quick we forget!
We are now trying to get ready for school to start. Only 8 more days- yahoo!!! Actually, I will miss the girls- it's been nice to have them home and spend time with them. Carly will be happy to have the house back to herself- but I know she's going to get bored. Lexi will be in 2nd grade, and that means she get's to go upstairs for her class- she thinks that's the greatest. Ashlee is a little nervous about how hard 1st grade will be- but I know she'll do great.
I think Darrell is in heaven lately- he was so lonely with out us here. When we planned this he was suppose to travel and do trainings- some had to reschedule, so had had to be here alone for 2 weeks. Luckily he got to do a little traveling- but not enough. He was so bored he cleaned the entire house, even made sure there were vacuum lines for me to see when I got home- that's true love!
Today Carly did something she was so proud of. A little boy in her Nursery class tried to kiss her on the cheek and she didn't want him to. Most kids would push or hit and tell them no. Not Carly- she doesn't think that way. Instead of doing the normal typical things she took her cup of cold water and dumped it in his shorts- then laughed! Where does she get this?! What would life be with out kids?!

Welcome to the blog world. I am so glad to see you joined us. I am so sorry about pictures. I got your messages while I was in Utah. I totally spaced it. I feel really bad. Next time.

Yeah, another blog for me to stalk!! J/K--I'm glad I got to see you while you were here, it was great to catch up. Tell Darrell I am quite impressed with the story that he cleaned while you were gone and even left vacuum marks!! I'm lucky if Andrew even knows where the vacuum is!! And I couldn't decide what to vote for on your poll because I think I'll be crying, celebrating, cleaning and shopping on the first day of school!!!

Come on, if you are going to have a blog you have to update.
