I know everyone receives those wonderful emails saying if you don't pass them on you'll have like, I don't know 100 years of bad luck. Well Darrell's Grandma sent one yesterday, that I of course deleted and didn't think twice about it. I've deleted tons and nothing has ever happened. Well today the kids missed the bus, so I had to get Carly and I ready so we could take them to school. I went to the gym for my tighten and tone class, and believe me it was bad luck since we were working on arms again! I'm still trying to recover from Monday's arm class! Anyway, I had park day, but figured I could run to Sam's and still have time to shower before the park. I got all my stuff and went to pay- and the dreaded words- "Your membership has expired." They were nice and let me buy my stuff today. I went to the gas station, and realized I can't get the discount if my card is expired, so I had to pay full price- imagine that!! I got back in the car while it was pumping and was thinking, "Hmm, our van is a 2003 with only 60,000 miles- this van will last for quite a while longer." I got out to put the cap back on,got back in and MY CAR WOULDN'T START!!!! I had to ask the gas attendant if I could borrow his phone- since I forgot my phone. He asked if he could try and start the car- I let him. The battery had apparently been leaking and the acid ate away the cable to start the car! He asked when I last had it serviced, and I told him 2 months ago- he started laughing and told me not to take my car there again, because this should have been addressed. I wanted to ask him- where else can I take my car- Wal- Mart Lube is pretty much it! Anyway- Darrell came to get me, and He and the attendant jimmied it to start so we could get it home. What a FUN day!
I was quite frustrated by the time we got home- it had been an hour and a half- no park day for Carly. So I made myself start thinking about the good things- instead of my bad luck curse from the email! The attendants were so helpful and hilarious! They were 2 men probably in their late 60's. They both offered me their cell phones to use, but neither one knew how to use their phone. I was showing them a few things and then they got so excited and were trying to text each other and put their numbers in each other's phone. So many people kept asking if they could give me a ride home, the attendants started saying I was going to Tulsa, it's an hour and a half away. It was funny to watch people's faces, because they didn't want to be rude and take back the offer for a ride- but they didn't want to drive me to Tulsa. Then some lady was driving and a plastic bag flew out her window. Most people wouldn't really worry about it- she jumped out of her car and was chasing it everywhere! It's really windy today- so that was funny! Something else I was thankful for was that Carly was being so happy. She kept asking about the car, and didn't even cry when I told her we missed park day. She is the one who noticed Darrell driving down the road and started screaming her Daddy was here!
So hope this doesn't sound rude, but please don't forward emails to me that include comments on bad luck- I have more then I can handle!!

Sounds like a crazy day. Hope things get better. I believe that if you dont open them then you cant get bad luck if you dont read them. So that is what I do.
And you might not want to put your address on here since everyone and anyone can read your blog. :( Dont want to scare you. Just a few things I have learned about the internet.
Maybe that is what caused my bad luck last October. I didn't even think about it.
It's aaron.leavitt@sbcglobal.net
You crack me up, girl! I had better start tracking to see if there is a correlation between my bad days and all of those stupid emails that I never forward.
I miss talking to you!
Oh man, what a terrible start to your day!! I hate days like that and I really hate those emails.
Does ANYONE actually forward those emails? Seriously I hate that! I especially hate the ones that say if you are really my friend you will email thise back to me. Sorry about your bad luck but I wouldn't put much stock in it being from the email, probably just a bad day! Way to be opptimistic though.
TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! Alyssa I have been obsessed with Edward for like a YEAR! I love him and since reading Eclipse I love Jacob too and I hate Bella because I want to be Bella. I am the biggest NERD! I sometimes hate living here because the forests are like the ones she describes in the books and I want to picture a vampire or a werewolf walking out of them. I love those books and I think that they are from the devil to torture us poor desperate housewives to death with our boring lives and out vivid imaginations. I have been tempted to blog about the books in the past but unless you ahve read them yourself it sounds like a RIDICULOUS book. But did you hear that her sales like outsold Harry Potter or something like that! And we just play soccer in the rain. I made the mistake of asking that question at the coaches meeting and everyone laughing. They were like "This is Oregon, unless there is like lightning and thunder or dangerous conditions you just play". The rain isn't that bad though. It really just like mists most of the time, or it doesn't rain it is just cloudy. It doesn't rain here as much as everyone thinks. It DEFINATELY rains more than other places but it actually doesn't even top the lists on places that get the most rain. So we will see how the outdoor soccer goes. I am thinking we will just be damp for a few months.
That picture of your girls is adorable. I can't believe how much older they all look, especially Carly. I just finished reading Twilight on Saturday (at like 2:00 in the morning). I couldn't put it down! I'm excited to read the other two:) Sounds like life is anything but boring back in Bentonville. Glad you are enjoying it (except on days you get bad luck emails).

Hello from Las Vegas...I hope you don't mind me peeking at your blog...I seen it on Julie's. I can so much relate to your bad day! It seems like once they start its bound to be on a roll! But you tied it wonderfully by looking at the positive! Just wanted to say your kids are adorable. I see Lea Anne in one of your daughter's face. I hope Arkansas treats you well! Its close to where I grew up. Along the banks of the Mississippi River in Cape Girardeau! I have an aunt in Dardandelle. Anyway...hello
Funny thing...Kylea im-ed me this weekend. It seems Kyle was downstairs and LeaAnn was at a Stake meeting. But once she come home...she drug her mom to the computer! I felt bad, but it was good to hear from her. We were talking about getting together since we have not done it in a long while! We live on the total opposite end of town that they do. We live about 4 miles south of Spanish Trials just west of Rainbow. OUr oldest son just returned from his North Carolina Charlotte Mission in March. We did go back and circle the areas he served in. It was nice. Good to have him home! He is attending UNLV and working fulltime with his dad. The next child graduates this year from high school!!! Another one two years later! Time just flys by too fast!!! Take care!
