Living With A Teenager!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE having Brittney live with us- it's so fun! The kids are obsessed with her and are completely amazed at how late she can sleep in! Brittney has been looking for a job and finally got one at Hollister- she's pretty excited- I have no idea what that store is, but I was informed it's more for teenagers! I suppose I'm passed my teen years though! She has been bored out of her mind since I don't go many places- cause when I go somewhere I tend to spend money, not good when money needs saving! She's hoping to get a job at World Gym or the Wal Mart Fitness Center also- her missionary comes home in August and she wants to look her best!
Darrell had a fun Father's Day- I hope! I made him breakfast- everyone was actually sleeping in! He got the watch and clothes he wanted, then of course it was time for church. Something he always gets on his birthday, Father's Day, Valentines Day, and Christmas is a back massage. I HATE giving him massages- I'm terrible at it and my hands are weak and hurt so bad after a few minutes. I got smart and bought him an electric massager a few years ago and the massages have been much easier. Well last night after the kids were in bed I got out the massager- after Darrell reminded me- and turned it on. Darrell has had neck and back pain for a few days and when the massager was on those spots he made a moaning sound. I suddenly realized Brittney could hear this and think it was something else- since our bedroom door was closed and all. I started laughing and Darrell realized the same thing too. I went to look and see if poor Bert was wondering what the heck was going on- but she was already in bed. All these things you don't think about until there's a teenager in your home!

You totally crack me up. That is hilarious! How fun having Brittney. We had Marcus' sister Missy with us for about 3 months then his other sister, Sam and her fiance for about 7...They are moving out tomorrow. So sad. Hollister is for big people too...at least the perfume is...mmmm....

Did I miss something? Is she visiting or living with you? Just wait till your girls get older and they think they are sly by trying to unlock your door. Their is only one reason our door is ever locked. Luckily I'm a lot paranoid so we also put a chair in front of the door. Kylea kept beating down the door one day and asking what was blocking the door. I finally went out in my robe and told her never to unlock our door unless she wanted to be scarred for life. Problem solved!!!!!

I thought i had posted about Brittney living with us- but I haven't- sorry! She's living with us for the summer, just for a break and different setting before she starts college. She'll be here until mid August.

I just wanted you to know that I read your blog way more often than I comment. I did put one picture of Brittany on my blog in her INO uniform. I will have to post one of her and Elyssa too. Elyssa is at BYUi up in Rexburg, so that may have to wait until she gets home! Britt died her hair dark, so that probably threw you off. I'm sure you always remember her as blond! I too am endlessly entertained by your blog! So far I've only had siblings (well parents too for 2 months) live at our house! Sounds fun!

That is the funniest thing I have read. I just now figured out that I am supposed to comment on these so I have seen your comments and thought I would return one lest you think I never read! I am totally cracking up in the middle of work though. Now I have to explain why!
