This weekend was a big one for Ashlee along with loosing that top tooth, she got her ears pierced for the third time. She has gotten infections each time we've done it, but I'm hoping it won't be bad this time. We did it when she was 4 months old and I took them out after 4 weeks, when she was 3 she begged so we did it again and made it to week 5 before I had to take them out. Once again we gave in to her pleadings for ear rings. I told her we are going to fight like crazy this time to not get an infection. When Carly got hers pierced they did what Ashlee's did, but I found if I used a Q Tip to clean the ear ring instead of a cotton ball it worked much better. I remembered when I got mine pierced my Mom took my ear rings out early and put neosporin on them and put them right back in. It worked on me and Carly, so hopefully it will for Ashlee. She thinks since she got pink hearts instead of diamonds there will be no infection- I hope it works too!

Congrats, Ashlee! You look beautiful with your new earrings, and cute smile!! :)
Hi guys,
Sorry about the not so perfect pics of mom and Robin. You know, your mom wasn't there for very long and I didn't want to keep putting the camera in her face. So I snapped one real quick and kept it. I think she's pretty anyway. And I HAD to get Robins glasses in there!
Ashlee looks like Larae's kids from the side profile. If you stay on top of the daily twisting and cleaning through the healing period, her ears should be fine. However, she might be sensitive to certain types of silver or gold and will always have a red itchy swelling up. I can only wear real gold or else that's what happend to me.
I went to Cal because I was extremely fatigued and had a bad sore throst. He did some tests that I have yet to call back on. He gave me an antibiotic and I feel better but I'm still tired. I think it's a matter of taking care of myself with rest and hydration; not over-doing it. It's hard to just stay home and relax because we get ourselves so busy.
So cute! I wonder when I will do Anna's.
Congratulations Ashlee! I Love, Love Love all those pictures of your sweet girls. How precious...
