The other night at Book Group I was talking about when I was younger I use to wish I had a name like La Keisha, Sha Kayla, La Teisha.... get the idea?! The reason I liked those names is because you could make a nick name out of them- I wanted a nick name for me so bad! I had no idea Carly has been feeling the same way. The other day she was telling me a game we were going to play, and that her name is Fonda- then she corrected her self and said La Fonda! I about died! I have no idea where she heard this name and where she came up with it being her new name! What a goofy kid!!

Adorable. Wasn't LaFonda the name of the brother's internet girlfriend on Napoleon Dynamite? I could be wrong...she might have spelled it differently La Fawnda? Does anyone else remember?

They had a costume contest at her husbands work, and one guy dressed up as Nacho Libre, the video clip is hilarious. I was laughing until I cried!
La Fonda! I like it. Kylea used to want her name to be Maxy. In 1st grade she wrote it on all of her school papers. So when we decided to name the baby Max, we told her we were naming it after her.:) Kids are so funny. I think you should be La Shonda, so we can call you guys Shonda and Fonda.

Still waiting to hear back from the recruiter for WM. It's been 2 weeks. She said they are just super busy and are hiring over 200 people. How long did it take for the whole process with your hubby?
