My friend sent me this email, and I thought I'd post it so they can get as much support as possible. Just to let you know, this is not a scam- these are friends of mine that I grew up with and still keep in contact with. Hi Friends and Family,

Many of you have heard about and may even be following the progress of Robert Ashworth, 24, my brother-in-law (married to my sister, Ashley, 23), who is currently recovering from his 2nd Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). He has leukemia (AML), and after his 1st BMT last summer and several months in remission, leukemia cells were detected in routine blood work this past February. Since February, he has undergone 3 more rounds of chemotherapy, full body radiation, and a week ago received his 2nd BMT at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City . Because they are a young, married couple (their 3rd anniversary was this week) and are going through this second round of intensive treatment, we (their families) have made several fundraising efforts on their behalf to cover or at least help offset his medical care and treatment costs not covered by his insurance.

I have decided to put together a cookbook of Robert’s favorite recipes as well as much-loved recipes from his extended family to sell. This cookbook is currently in its pre-sale stage. The Cookbook fundraiser for RobDob, our Superhero, is underway! Starting NOW, you may order a cookbook filled with recipes Robert loves as well as recipes his extended family make and love. The pre-sale will end Monday, July 20th!

It will be a professional, padded 3-ring binder for ease-of-use, will have a custom color cover, a couple dedication pages, tabbed dividers, and approximately 150 recipes to turn you into a Super Cook!The pre-sale cookbook price is $20. If you are not local to Las Vegas , please add $2 shipping per book, for a total cost of $22 per book. Because this is a custom cookbook, it won't be ready for about 3 months. After the pre-sale, the cookbook price will be $25 (plus shipping). This is a pretty awesome fundraiser because 70% of the gross sales will go straight to cover Robert's health care costs.Feel free to order more than one book.
