Destin Florida- part 1

We had so much fun in Florida- the beach was BEAUTIFUL!! We went with a family in our ward, and the husband is the one who takes all the cute pictures of my kids. So having him there to take lots of pictures- I didn't take as many, since his will be way better then mine! So here are a few of mine and I'll post the others when I get them from him.

The drive was great- I have never been down through Louisiana, Tennessee, and Alabama. The kids were really good- even Baylee enjoyed the ride!

I was really liking the drive until we stared driving over these kind of bridges..

I was freaking out! I hated the feeling of being surrounded by that much water- I was getting sick to my stomach and breathing really fast. I didn't think it would bother me that bad- we drove over them in Washington and I was ok- but not this time!

The beach was so clean and BRIGHT!

The water was so clear it was like the kids were in a pool swimming. I went with everyone each morning and sat under the umbrella with Baylee, the afternoon we spent in the condo since it was a little too warm for her. I did not come back

with the tan I wanted, but I keep telling myself I saved myself from skin cancer. We used so much stinkin sunblock- I got so sick of re-applying it on the girls I made Darrell buy the spray kind. It didn't work as well, but it was much quicker.

This is how Baylee enjoyed the beach- she slept or was awake staring at the water- she is such a good baby!
We also spent a lot of time in the pool. Carly learned to swim! I couldn't believe it! She would jump in and take off- Darrell was a pretty good teacher:)

Baylee was so tired when we came back to the condo for the afternoons!

We had such a great time and are excited to go again! I think we will try the beach in Alabama though- it's closer and cheaper, who can say no to that?!
