Baylee started smiling really well on July 5th- I wish I could get more on the camera! The day of her blessing she was laying on our bed and cooing and smiling so much, I was slow getting the camera so I only got the end of it.
We are trying like crazy to get ready for our trip to Destin Florida! We are going with friends and can't wait to sit on a beach for a week! I normally make lists and am packed days before we leave- not this time! I feel very unprepared for this trip with a baby. We also have been looking at new cars- our Caravan was dying a slow death. Last week Darrell was off so he went and test drove, called me and came home with a Toyota Sienna!
I know Darrell never imagined he'd be so excited to own a mini van!! Funny what parenthood does to you! In all honesty, I didn't think I'd ever be excited for one either! I remember trading in our Durango for our Caravan and being so sad- cause it meant I really was a Utah Mormon Mom. I felt a little rebellious with an SUV. Now I need convenience, good gas mileage, and dependable- I got it!! I should put in here that Darrell was really NOT thrilled to have a picture with the van- he kept trying to tell them no and they wouldn't let him leave with out it!

I love our Sienna! It makes me feel like an adult to own a van. That was a dream car for a while and now I am preparing for my mid life crisis and changed my dream car. Baylee is so dang cute. I love the smiles. Have fun on vacation.
Did the dealership want a picture of him with his new car? If so, that's weird! Like it though. I like the Sienna.

Baylee is cute as ever...and that van! That van!! LOL. Only thing that could have made the moment better is he he laid across the hood like a Price is Right model :) Congrats though...nothing like a new car!

That is so awesome...Love that pic! Hilarious. I didn't replace my (wrecked) van with another...and I kinda miss it. So wierd. They do make life so so much easier....ESPECIALLY with little ones still in carseats. Have a great trip!
