I feel like we should have a big red X on our front door telling everyone not to come! Darrell had H1N1 about 3 weeks ago and no one else got it. I was under the impression we have super human immune strength, until today. Ashlee started a fever yesterday after church, and was complaining about her throat. I knew those were the first signs of the flu, so I made her stay away from everyone- especially Baylee. I took Ash to the doctor today and I was hoping and praying for strep, tonsillitis, anything but the flu. The flu test was negative- YEAH! Then the doctor came and told me the test is wrong quite often, so they have to go by symptoms and Ashlee has ALL the symptoms of H1N1. Ashlee gets to wear a very fashionable mask- she loves it so much she won't let me take a picture of her in it. She walked out of the office with her arm over her mask so no one would see her. She is very sad to miss her 3rd grade play, which she worked so hard to get a speaking part in, and she will miss a field trip. It has not been her day. We are hoping it didn't get anyone who was at her party, she wasn't sick or feeling yucky at all, and we are hoping no one else in the house gets it.
I feel like we have the plague. I feel like people are going to hear what we have and run the other way- I don't blame them, I would too!!

You know how people feel about you because that's how you felt about the Pattersons a couple of weeks ago! I hope Ashlee feels better soon and the rest of you can avoid it!
Yucky! I had a scare here, but we don't have it. Just a virus. Hope you guys are well soon!
PS We might make it for Thanksgiving. They put out Dustin's schedule, but cut it off on the 22nd. He thinks he might have it off.
So sorry to hear that.
We actaully went and got the vaccine for FHE. Needless to say the kids didn't think it was a fun family outing.
I really didn't want to get it, but since Steve works in a hospital and will be around a lot of sick people, and Thomas has asthma - we had to. So far no side effects...knock on wood.
Wow, you are going through a lot. I think there are so many unknowns when it comes to being sick, but sounds like you have things under control. Hang in there! :)
I'm so sorry. It's bad enough to just be sick, but to have to worry about that, too. I hope Ashlee gets better soon. Good luck!
I am so sorry!! Wow! It has really made it's way around Bentonville. i hope everyone gets to feeling better soon!! I wish I was close enough I could make you some soup and drop it off by your front door. :)
Poor thing!! Wishing Lysol happy thoughts your way! Hope nobody else gets it in your fam!
we all have had it except little baby. i am just praying!!! if it were not for great neighbors who brought us food when we were all in the bed, including aaron, i don't know what i would have done. good luck and hopefully this will spare our little babies at least.
Awwwh! Poor Ashlee. Tell her we hope she gets better quickly. We have sick kids around here too. We are hoping it is not H1N1. What was her fever like? They have just complained of sore throats and have had a low fever around 100. We are hopefully getting the vaccine next week.
Aaaawwww, poor Ashers. I really hope no one else in your family gets it. Elijah was at the pediatrician today and tested positive for strep throat. They didn't do any other tests on him. Just asked if he's been throwing up or having diarreah which he hasn't. He's really in a lot of pain with a BAD headache. I hope all goes well at your house!! :>
Oh, I'm so sorry. It's discouraging to think you're over the worst and everyone is okay, and then WHAM!! Let me know if you need anything. I can make a trip to the store or something.
i'm glad i don't live by you! j/k. ;)
