I have been putting off giving Baylee any baby food for a few reasons.
-She sleeps through the night.
-She doesn't act like she's needing anything more then milk.
-She for sure is not a starving baby!
-I don't want her to grow up any faster then she needs to.
-Once they start eating from a spoon they recognize you eating and want it.
I took her with me to a baby shower the other night and each bite I took she followed the spoon, so I decided I should try some rice cereal. Here are her first food pictures.

We'll add some baby food to flavor it in a few days.

I hear you on the rice cereal. Learning to eat that is testing both mine & Addison's patience. It's true though that now she expects a bit of everything I'm eating as well. Poor thing. Now I hate eating in front of her as I disappoint her. :(
Those first bite pics are always my favorite! It makes me miss having a baby.
PS Probably not going to make it for Thanksgiving. I'll try though. Might be without Dustin.
those rolls that you mentioned weston finally had. funny thing that is.... he has had rice cereal in his bottles since birth for acid reflux. he was sleeping the entire night, but about 2 weeks ago...started waking up etc...and following us when we hate...you know the drill. anyway, we gave him oatmeal with 1/4 jar of bannas in it. that little pig pushed nothing away. he knew just what to do. no training needed. he is his daddy's boy after all. and yes, they do grow up way to fast. bitter sweet! fyi, if i was baylee, i would push the rice away too...nasty without fruit. ick! lol. she is cute with her hat on.
