Lexi Turns 10!

Lexi turned 10!! (ok, so it was a few weeks ago) This was a BIG deal to her, she couldn't wait to finally be in the double digits. We were having a hard time deciding what kind of party she wanted (since it was a friend party year) and we couldn't find a day when someone didn't have softball or play practice or piano lessons or dance recital.... Finally we decided someone was going to miss a practice and we found a day. Lexi also made the decision to do a laser tag party. She was able to invite 7 friends, this made for more hard decisions.

We had such a fun time running and hiding from each other. They had two games of laser tag and they also could play any video game free and pool and air hockey.

Lexi is such a great kid! I complain about her "tween" attitude that has crept up lately, but even with attitude and questions she still obeys.

Here are 10 reason's we love Lexi!

1. She is a great help and example to her little sisters

2. You generally will never see her with out a FAT book in her hands

3. Her room may be a mess, but her homework and school bag are always organized

4. She is a hard worker

5. She has many talents and right now she is focusing on piano and softball

6. She keeps her scriptures by her bed so she won't forget to read them every night

7. She is becoming quite the baker at home

8. She is always willing to do her sisters hair and dress the baby if we are running late

9. She is very determined

10. She gives very genuine hugs and thank you's

Each birthday I try and do a little inter view with the kids to see how things have changed in a year, here is Lexi's.
