Early July Activities!

I have gotten a little behind on blogging, so in order to post about our most recent trip I need to get caught up!

Drive In- Toy Story 3
We went with some friends to the Drive In (does anyone else start singing "Stranded at the Drive In" from the movie Grease when they hear the words Drive In?) and got to watch Toy Story 3 again. We brought all kinds of snacks and let the kids sit with friends. It's always funny how they end up bunching- same ages together, but of course boys and girls always end up separated.

The movie was so cute- I teared up both times seeing it when Andy is leaving his toys- of course I want my kids to go to college, but it goes so fast!!

Bays was a "treat" through the movie. Finally I strapped her in stroller and walked back and forth for about 20 minutes and she finally fell asleep.

Fourth Of July:
We had a fun breakfast with friends to start off the holiday weekend. We had yummy blueberry pancakes (yep, freshly picked ones) blueberry syrup, bacon, hashbrowns, eggs, and fruit. Because of rain we had to change our plans around a little. We had lots of fun at our neighborhood party. I love to watch all the fireworks! Bays didn't really like those though. We are so thankful for the freedoms we enjoy each day. Carly was really confused about why we celebrate fireworks. It was nice to be able to explain to her the freedoms we have here that so many people don't have. She probably didn't understand a lot of it, but I know something stuck when she said she loved to wear freedom colors.
