Spring Break

I was so looking forward to Spring Break, no early rising, no lunches to pack.... The list could go on forever! But I also was nervous about all 5 kids being home, and me having to do the entertaining. I really was excited for the kids to play outside, like all day, and doing little picnics in a different park each day. Instead what we got is RAIN! I don't mean like 1-2 inches, I mean like 6 inches! It wouldn't quit raining!

In this picture- how do you like our patio furniture?! It is our old kitchen table and chairs- see what rain and weather does do wood?! This is our Arkansas white trash look! We moved it out there for Lexi's party and didn't mean to keep it out there, but it's nice to have something for the kids. We are going to get real stuff this year I hope- these look gross and are going to be out with the trash this next week! They have served their purpose!

I was so depressed- that meant I had to entertain the kids inside which is no easy thing since Carly and Chase usually fight when they are in in the same room together! By Tuesday I had enough of being inside, and the kids were ready for a change. I had thought about bowling, but besides not wanting to pay for 5 kids, I didn't want to have to keep track of all of them by myself, so we decided to go to the Walton Family Fitness Center. I can't remember if I've written bout the gym here for Wal- Mart employee's but it's great! We went and played kickball- which I didn't realize kids don't play anymore, I felt OLD!

Wednesday we had an Easter Egg hunt, which everyone thought was fab! My friend Amy let us do it at her house- Thanks Amy!

Today is looking so nice outside- Spring is finally here! Now I say that and am expecting much more rain and of course tornado's, but I'm going to enjoy the nice weather while it's here!
