Baylee was able to come home Monday afternoon and we are so thankful! We realized Sunday afternoon she was being so fussy because her IV was not in right anymore. They took it out and she was the HAPPIEST baby! I never knew there was such a thing as viral pneumonia- oh the things Darrell and I have learned! I took her into a follow up today and her lungs are clear, and she looks so much better. She has started eating a little better, but still isn't quite back to her normal schedule which makes me and my pump best friends. We also realized Baylee won't take a bottle!! I keep trying- this is not a battle I want to loose! This winter we have to be a little extra paranoid with her because her lungs are not going to be as strong going into the sick season. The doctor told me to be a "paranoid, hand washing, hand sanitizing, over protective mother." She would almost rather me not take Baylee out of the house for the next month so her lungs can get stronger- good thing I like being at home I guess! I'll just have to be very careful when we do have to go places. Thanks for all the support, prayers, fasting, meals, and child watching! We would not have made it through this ordeal sane with out every ones help.
I have needed to post pictures from my friend Aubrey's birthday party.
Her husband Aaron is never going to live down that he wore WOMAN'S purple leggings- what love he has for his wife!!
She turned the big 30 and wanted to throw herself an 80's party. She is the queen of parties! She had some friends come decorate her house and car in the middle of the night- some of those friends are feeling a little guilty that the glass paint isn't coming off her car!:(
She rented out a conference room in a hotel, I'm sure the guests that were staying in that hotel were a little concerned when they saw us all walking in looking like this...

I am so so glad Baylee is back and doing better! She is so so sweet.
LOVE the 80s Party. It is just awesome. I love it all. ;O) Love the glasses, but where is your blue eyeshadow?? How fun! The "mom" kills me.
I'm glad Baylee is feeling better. One question, aren't you alread a "paranoid, hand washing, over protective mother"? JK
Love the 80's party! I will have to steal that idea sometime. Did everybody just hang on to their clothes for 20+ years or what? Where did Darrell find a Ghostbusters shirt? And oh yeah, I love the pegged pants! Dustin still takes pride to this day that he could roll his the tightest. His sisters asked him to roll theirs, he was that good!
Ha ha Larae, by the way- YES I AM! The funnier part was she told me to be even more paranoid!!
I did have on blue eye shadow, but it must not have been dark enough- some of the ladies were braver then me!
The thrift store and online shopping supplied most of the clothes- Darrell and I got ours at Kohls. We had those robot looking sunglasses on our heads- don't worry, Darrell is not wearing a headband!:)
Glad Baylee is home and doing great...about those party pictures. I'm concerned that THAT many people still have clothes from the 80's that are easily accessible. ;)
sooooo glad that era is OVER!!!
and that baylee is well. ;)
I'm with you on the glass paint on aubrey's car..... =)What a fun party it was!
