Lexi has now joined a traveling softball team along with her league team. Why did we do this you wonder? Because we love to add more craziness to our already busy schedule!!:) Her league coach and another league coach took their 5 best players and decided to form a traveling team so the girls who already know how to play can participate in tournaments and continue to get better. We knew eventually Lexi would need to join a traveling team, but have been hesitant because of her age and how competitive they get, and most tournaments go through Sunday- and we don't play sports on Sunday's. Her coach already knew this, and still wanted her to come even if she can only do Friday's and Saturday's.
Lexi's team has been so good the past few years in tournaments, but usually come in second and third place. Their team did an incredible job in their first tournament starting at 9:00 am and playing until 10:30 pm- and winning FIRST place!
Such tired tired girls- but oh so happy!!
After the tournament I needed to get gas in the car- Lexi has been learning how to pump gas- I figured we needed a picture!
