We had such a fun Christmas! Darrell takes the girls to see a movie every Christmas Eve so I can get some wrapping done. They saw A Christmas Carol and really liked it, but said it was a little scary. They also stopped and exchanged our propane tank on our BBQ since we were suppose to be getting a really bad snow storm. If the power went out we would at least have a BBQ to cook on and a fireplace to stay warm with. We watched a few Christmas movies and made cookies, then the kids got to open their Christmas pajamas. The older girls had matching ones and Baylee's coordinated, but she couldn't wear them since I forgot to wash them first. She has such sensitive skin and I was NOT going to let her be covered in a rash for her first Christmas! The kids got to soak in the jetted tub (they only get to take a bath in my bath on Christmas Eve, I know I'm selfish!) then we spoke of the true meaning of Christmas and bore our testimonies to the kids. They each get books and got to open those right before bed. This was the first year they all stayed in the same room and fell asleep. We hung bells on the door to tip us off if anyone got up.
I love Christmas morning! I love how excited the kids are, seems like they are just bursting with excitement! I wish it could last longer though. This year was extra special since it was a WHITE CHRISTMAS! Not a lot of snow, but still snowing! Most of the storm hit in Oklahoma- it was really bad there.

Lexi and her gifts from Santa
Ashlee and her gifts from Santa
Carly and her gifts from Santa
Baylee and her gifts from Santa- she liked the big one!
The rest of the gifts
Carly's new doll house- she played with it for hours! She didn't really want to open anymore gifts after this one.
Baylee was a little freaked out by the chaos of Christmas, she couldn't decide if she liked her new toys or if they made her cry.
I forgot to take pics of the kids after everything was open, so here's what they say their favorites were. Lexi's favorites were some DS games, picture board, a watch, camera, perfume, clothes, and Harry Potter 6. Ashlee's favorites were electric drums, camera, watch, DS games, sweater from Justice, music box, and her picture board. Carly's favorite was for sure the doll house, but she has carried around a play dough package wanting to play with that as well! Her new DS games and scooter will be liked in a while I'm sure!:) Baylee likes her saucer to sit and play, but all the other toys scare her. She appreciates her new package of diapers, and her new bottles which she WILL be loving a lot more often since she is still biting me! Darrell is excited to have a digital picture frame for his desk at work, his new tools and his big surprise gift was an ipod clock radio. My favorites were my new cute coat (Darrell and Lexi found a few really good sales after her band concert and surprised me!), lot's of new shirts, which I desperately needed, a Christ statue, and a really cute framed calendar.
The kids couldn't wait to finish opening presents so they could go sledding. They have a great Dad who will take them- I won't go further then the door frame. If you want a picture you better be in zooming distance of the camera- cause I don't like to be that cold!
Darrell took these other pictures since I was not coming out of the house...
We had our traditional breakfast casserole with hash browns, ham, eggs, and cheese. Oh cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate too. Then they went to see if any other friends in the neighborhood wanted to go sledding too. They were gone for 2 hours!
Two other families joined us for Christmas dinner- it was really fun. I love to have friends come visit! All the kids played so well- I think the only few times we heard them was when Carly got her arms stuck in the Foosball table and when it was time for dinner and dessert.
We are so thankful for this time of year. So thankful for a Savior who was born and sacrificed so much for each one of us. Through him we can have eternal life and eternal families. We are so thankful for such wonderful families we were blessed with- and such great friends new and old.
We hope you all had a fun Christmas as well!

Hooray for a white Christmas. I love how excited the kids are too. ;)
Glad you were able to have a white Christmas! you're such a partty poopre! You need to get out there and enjoy the sledding with your girls! Baylee would have loved a littel pull on the sled! I want to see you new coat!
We also took the kids to see the christmas carol on christmas eve... And I agree it was scary, lol
I'm so jealous of your white Christmas. Not much chance of that here. Sounds like you had a great Christmas. I agree with Larae. Get out there and have fun with the kids. That is what that jetted tub is for, warming up after the sledding.
