I have been telling the girl's for quite a while that I would teach them how to curl their own hair, but I am incredibly controlling and obsessive about their hair so I've put it off. Since it was a Snow day and I figured we'd be home most of the day I let them try. They did so good! I couldn't believe it!! Lexi couldn't reach the back so I helped her on that, but the rest she did by herself.
Ashlee was a little more nervous- she has been burnt by me a few too many times. She did the sides, but then got really scared- but I was so proud of her!

Thats way cool that you can curl your own hair I can't even do that and I'm 12. But I don't need to curl my hair it curls itself. I'm getting curly hair. I hate it i perfer striaght hair.
I am so glad you put this in your blog. I have been trying to get Kylea to learn to do her own hair forever. Believe me I don't do it because I obcess about what it looks like. There have been plenty of mornings I have been told it didn't look right and I had to redo it. She has now informed me that by summer she will learn to do it on her own.
