FINALLY!

This weekend I celebrated the 2nd anniversary of my 29th birthday- I will forever be 29! As many of you know I am one of those crazy huge fans of the Twilight series, but have not been able to get to the movie. A few opportunities came up- but the timing wasn't working out, so many times I had to say no to seeing the movie I have been dying to see! My husband knew how important it was to me- so Saturday night he took me! He is always good about watching chick flicks with me- not his favorite thing, but he knows I love them so he suffers through them. I do have to say I loved the movie! For a low budget movie I thought they did really well! Darrell asked a lot of questions through it, but even he kind of liked it. He actually was glad it wasn't this mushy gushy movie, but instead it had a vampire get his head ripped off, and he liked the baseball scene. He said he'd watch the movies to the Twilight series but there was no way I could convince him to read the books.
A few parts of the movie I did have to laugh out loud on. Did anyone else notice Dr. Cullen's makeup in the hospital? I think they went way too heavy on the white powder- none of the other vampires looked quite that white! Another part was when Edward is running or climbing tree's the effects were not that great. It reminded me of that commercial where the guy is running in some kind of race so it shows his top half of his body not moving, only his legs so he can text. I have a few more, but I'll only list the last thing I laughed about. I was very curious how they were going to pull off the glittering scene- to me it ended up looking like Edward had glitter zits- it just looked weird!
But like I said, I really liked the movie! I was so glad to have finally seen it- what a great husband I have! I know he has already been made fun of for seeing it- but he takes it, since he knew how bad I wanted to see it!
