Thanksgiving Trip

We had so much fun in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving! We found great deals with Alligiant Air to fly out there for INCREDIBLY cheap prices- and were glad to take a 3 hour flight instead of an 18 hour drive!

We got in Las Vegas and I suddenly remembered why I love Bentonville- here's a few pictures! It was raining so the pictures aren't great.

Too many traffic lights- that aren't synchronized!

Construction!

CAT buses- when did they get double deckers here?!

I meant to take lot's of pictures of what I didn't miss- but realized it would be a very negative post. What I realized I missed, you ask?

FAMILY!

FRIENDS!

We saw a few other friends while we were at Casey's funeral. I was very late because I got lost. Darrell was meeting me there and I had to call him many times to get other directions. It's so frustrating how turned around I get and how easily it happens! I lived there for 2 years- you would think it wouldn't be hard to find the church!! I'm glad I'm getting a GPS for Christmas- I need it!
I also REALLY miss Panda Express, but in all my excitement of getting my yummy food- I forgot to take a picture!

I wish we could have had more time with family and friends. It was so hard to try and divide ourselves between everyone. I forget how hard it is when both sides of the family are together and you feel like you are in a tug of war. We did the best we could while still tyring to relax and enjoy being together with our own little family. We took the kids to the M&M World- they loved it! They especially loved choosing what color of m&m's they wanted- we had to start limiting them when we saw it was $11.99 a pound!! Then we looked in the Coca Cola area- they liked the bear and that was about it!

It was a fun trip and we are excited to go back! It's so nice to have so many cousins to play with and the Grandma's there for lot's of hugs! A few of the kids highlights were:

*Thanksgiving dinner with both families together

*Seeing Christmas lights with the Wiser and Ruesch cousins and getting a little gift from Santa

*Building gingerbread houses with the Merritt cousins

*Playing like crazy with the Custer cousins

Common. Vegas is a blast. I am suprised In and Out wasnt on you list of things you miss. I LOVE that place. We will go there at least 3 times...sometimes 2 times a day. Discusting, I know, but YUM! And you cant beat the weather, I can't believe it was raining!!

It was so fun, but yes, tugging families are hard-we just need to get together in the middle-did Darrell tell you about their idea to go to a football game next Thanksgiving?
