So Tired....

Last night was a LONG night. I couldn't sleep, and couldn't sleep, and couldn't sleep. I slept good from 10 till midnight. After that I was awake every 15- 20 minutes. I could blame it on this sweet baby who loves to play in my ribs. I could blame it on this sweet baby who loves to put LOT'S of pressure on my bladder. I could blame it on my husband for snoring a few times. But I won't. I finally fell asleep at 4:30 and woke up again at 6:00. It was not by choice to wake up at 6:00- the girls don't get up until 6:30. So I just laid there. The nights are so long when you can't sleep! You don't want to wake anyone else, so you try and keep lights off and force yourself to sleep. Fun night! I can't wait to have this little baby in my arms instead of inside me! I would much rather get up with a crying hungry baby all night then just be laying there in bed with nothing to do. Obviously I would really rather sleep through the nights, but if I had to choose one or the other- give me my baby to stare at and hold instead of the long BORING nights!
June 2 can not get here fast enough- just 5 and a half more weeks! I had a doctor appointment today. He laughed at how the baby is clear over under my right ribs. When he went to measure me she kicked his hand, and also my rib. It's amazing how much a rib can move! She doesn't like to be laughed at I guess.

I hear ya sister! If you ever want to hang out at say 3:00 in the morning - give me a call. Chances are I'm up and bored too. I have any/all of those same symptoms, bladder, baby moving, pain, snoring husband, heartburn - you name it - it keeps me up. I'm not a pleasant person when I can't sleep - I'm convinced I turn into the devil and sit and convince myself the world is conspiring against me and making me lose sleep. Sigh...maybe it's best if we don't hang out at 3:00 in the morning together. You may not like the ugly person I turn into. Lol.

Grab a book! At least you'll be getting something done. It might even help you get to sleep.

I feel for you. I am awake around 3 usually feeding a hungry baby and that is much better than laying there with nothing to do. The end is in sight and I can't wait to see this cute little Wiser baby.

I feel you too! Are you due on June 2? For some reason I thought we were only two days apart, and you were due between the 8th-12th! I lost sleep two nights in a row. One night I actually got up and went downstairs. The nice thing about my house is that I won't wake anyone when I'm down there. I cleaned in the kitchen and caught up on emails. It is so hard when you know that other children are going to get you out of bed so early, and I get a little moody when I'm tired too. Of course, I feel like I'm tired all the time right now! At least we are on the home stretch! :) I can't wait to hold my little one either! My girl likes to kick my diaphragm and make it difficult to catch my breath! Byron was my rib baby! I swear I had internal bruising from that boy! I hope our time flies by too! It is fun being pregnant with you--even far away!

It is much more fun to hold the little one. I don't really ever sleep good. I am kind of an insomniac. My cure-- Tylenol PM, I popped them like crazy pregant with Max. I would take them when I went to bed and then again between 2 and 3 and it doesn't make you sleepy in the morning. Hang in there. You are getting close.

My doctors gave me Ambien while I was in the hospital and couldn't sleep. Holy Smokes, it knocked me out.
