I feel like our family has been running like crazy lately- everyday there is something new! I can't really complain- since it makes the days go by faster and soon this little girl will be here!

Carly had her dance recital a few weeks ago, it's always so fun to see the little girls up there doing their dance they hardly remember! Lexi and Ashlee are more reserved then Carly, and on the stage it's the same thing. It's really hard to get Lexi and Ash to look like they are having fun on stage so Darrell and I were expecting the same from Carly. How wrong we were. She got out on stage and was a COMPLETE ham! Lot's of the kids in her class were trying to find their parents to wave at them- not Carly, she was ready to dance! The song started and she had a HUGE smile and remembered what to do in both dances, ballet and tap. When it came time for the grand finale they brought Carly's group out. Carly thought everyone was cheering for her- only her! She had her little flower and was waving both hands and blowing kisses in center stage. The rest of her group moved back to make room for the next group of dancers, but not Carly! She was way too busy waving and blowing kisses to the audience! I couldn't get my camera on quick enough to take pictures, so I'm hoping the DVD we ordered will show a little blurp of her doing it.
She is so different then her sisters! She is 4 and a half and still needs a nap- and i need her to take one! There are days that she doesn't want to sleep though. One day I came in her room and she had taken EVERY pair of socks she could find and lined them up around her room. Another time it was her books. Another time it was all her shoes out of the closet. Well the day of her recital she was still very proud of her self of how well she did and wasn't quite ready to go to sleep. She found stickers and made presents for Darrell and I. The paper on her door is the sign to be a member in her Princess club. She then went on to tell me she wants to be a mom, doctor, nurse and Princess when she grows up!
Ashlee had her TREC Showcase last week. They were working on electricity. She made a room that is wired so the light comes on and the ceiling fan turns on. The matching game she made is of the planets and when you get a match it lights up also. One of the teachers came up and told us Ashlee was their bubble of joy and lot's of information on Tuesdays. I laughed because I knew what she was saying. In a nice way she was saying Ashlee will talk your ear off if you let her! She is so good about being quiet when she is told, but man when she is allowed to talk- boy can she talk! I thought it for sure had to be a Taylor gene- but Darrell was sent to the Principal's office for talking too much, kicked off the bus for talking too much, and had to write on the board many times for talking! Last night Ashlee hit the ball in a softball game!! She did it twice actually- and of course it was a game I missed!! She called me after and was so excited to tell me all about it!
Lexi has her TREC Showcase next week. Last night she scored the tie breaking run in the softball game! No picture because like I said- I missed the game! I hate it when that happens! But in my defense the bleachers are NOT comfortable, and it was a late game that Carly would have been a mess to try and keep track of. But if I could do it over again- I would be there- I am so sad to have missed it!!
I think I am now caught up on the big things that happened over the last few weeks!

you have such bright girls. You should be a very proud mamma!
Carly is a crack up! How on earth did you get all those stickers off? Yay for Ashlee! I'm glad she finally got her hits! I love what your school teaches their kids! Sometimes I feel the Utah curiculum is totally lame!
Carly and Bekkah would get along so well. I have to hide all of our stickers. I am jealous of your night out with the girls. I bet that pedicure felt sooo good!
I can just picture Carly up there on the stage blowing kisses... how funny! =)
BYW, I can't believe your baby counter says 15 days!!!!!! That's crazy!
