Happy #9 Lexi!

Today Lexi turns 9- every year I want to cry on her birthday! I can't believe how quick she is growing up! Lexi is such a sweet girl, she has always been so obedient! On May 9, 2000 I was laughing at how my stomach would move all over the place. I told Lexi it would be the perfect day to be born- even though it was a month early. I was dilated to a 5, and knew when she made her arrival it would be very quick and I wanted to be in the hospital with an epidural. I was off work that day, and Darrell was at his first day of work with a Physical Therapy office. I never imagined my water would break a few hours later, and there she was! So obedient!!

We alternate each year a friend party and a family party. Since there is no family here she could invite two friends to do something with her to celebrate. She wanted to go bowling and was so excited to have her friends Ana and Carmen come with us. After bowling we came home and opened presents and made brownie sundae's- my kind of dessert!!
