Loved!

Today has been a really fun Mother's Day for me! But the celebrating didn't start today, it's been a few days of celebrating. Friday I went to Ashlee's class for a poetry reading. The kids made little books and had to write all kinds of different poems about their mom's. Ashlee's were very cute, and so sweet! My favorite poem she wrote read,


Saturday night I went out with some friends for a pedicure and dessert. I didn't want Darrell to spend anymore money on me, since we have had many unexpected expenses over the past week. It was so nice to have my toes polished and the guy who did my feet gave my feet a really nice massage, although I felt really bad for him since they are so swollen these days!

This morning Darrell and the girls made breakfast for me- they each had their own jobs. I loved listening to them sing and talk to each other while they were working together. Lexi gave me a Mother's Day present she made in school. It's an ABC book all about me. I loved reading each of them! A few of my favorites are...

"L" is for Leftovers- My mom doesn't like leftover's! Like one time we had steak and she didn't want the leftover's the next day.

"U" is for Unlikely- It is very unlikely for my Mom not to like me!

She had a few other's I loved but she didn't want me to post them, so I better not!

I am so thankful to have been blessed to have a mom who loved me and was a great example to me of what a mom should be. She is an amazing woman! I am so thankful to be blessed to be a mom! I complain about them making me crazy- but love every minute of the craziness!!
