Thank You! Thank You!!

Last night some of my friends gave me a baby shower. I had so much fun being with so many friends all at once- and the food- YUM!! I wish I had a picture of the food- so so good! I had heartburn all night and still have it this morning- but it is so worth it!! I wish I would have remembered my camera! Amy had her house decorated so cute with all kinds of cute baby girl decorations all over. We played a fun game of the Price Is Right. They had baby items and you had to guess the price. Then total the prices of all the items and you couldn't be over the real price- you know, like the Showcase Showdown! I am a little relieved to know that the baby supplies aren't quite as expensive as I had thought. I was almost $10 over the total price, so I lost. Lyndsay Jensen came in just a dollar or two under- very impressive! I suppose it does help that she has 3 children under 3 right now!

The ward I am in is such a great and close ward. Most of us have moved and left our family on the other side of the United States. This ward is like my family- everyone steps in to help and take care of so many things- we are really blessed to be in this ward! Thanks everyone who came and thanks so much for all the gifts! This baby will be very well dressed, very clean, and have all kinds of cozy seats to sit in!!

I am good on diapers and wipes for a while!
Cute little outfits, along with the two bins of clothes I have- she will not be naked!!

The diaper bag was filled with different baby foods and a gift certificate to one of my favorite restaurants

No stinky babies here- love a clean baby!!
I left all the gifts in the front room last night so my girls could see the gifts in the morning. I missed their reaction since I was in the shower. Darrell said it sounded like it was Christmas out there. The girls were going through every bag and oooo-ing and ahhh-ing over everything. When I got out of the shower I could hear them squealing over and over how cute things were. Carly found the bottle brush and said, "Look Lexi, it's a little toilet scrubber for Baylee's potty seat when she gets bigger." Can you tell it's been a while since we've had little baby supplies?!

A quick shot of them before I ran them to school

Thanks everyone for the great gifts- everything will be put to good use!!!
I feel so blessed to have so many close friends here, they each have done so many things to help me in different ways, and I am so thankful! Thanks again guys for a really fun night, and of course thank you for the YUMMY food!!

That's so fun...and for your 4th! Usually the gifts seem to taper the more children you have. You must have such awsome friends. I loved the pictures of your girls checking out all the cute baby stuff. It made me excited for you and your family to welcome this new little girl. Your girls are going to love this new baby!

Wow, I can't believe how much stuff you got from one shower! I don't know if you have used a Bumbo before, but I just did with my Lexi and I loved it. They are awesome, and I don't know if it was just her or what but she definitely sat up sooner than Nathan did. (They say it helps them learn to sit up) Park it in front of the t.v. for a break when she's 5 or 6 months old! :) Couple this seat with a baby einstein dvd and you're set.....

Alissa - so sorry I couldn't make it! :( It sounds like it was so much fun. We really do have a great supportive and generous ward don't we? I felt very spoiled after mine too. I'll bring your gift to you this Sunday!!

The way you describe your ward is how I think each ward the world over SHOULD be. I'm so glad that you are taken very special care of sister!
